Dana R. Mascioli, Class of 1987

UC2 edit 0563Currently, working as an Instructional Technologist for the Wyoming Valley West School District, Dana began her career teaching Secondary English for the first 12 years. While in the classroom full time, she collaborated with colleagues to coordinate student clubs to maintain early computer labs, to establish a domain name and district email for teachers, to assist the adoption of the district student information system and to pilot programs which led to   integrating  technology into classrooms on a regular basis which include hybrid learning opportunities in Moodle courses and a WVW Cyber School program.  Dana was asked to serve as the liaison between the school district and the foundation board.

Accomplishments include:

  • Master’s Degrees in Secondary Education and in Instructional Technology from Wilkes University
  • Pennsylvania Keystone Integrator 2007 and attended  the 2007 Keystone Summit
